In response to the COVID-19 crisis, a website was set up under Rural Development Programme Technical Assistance to help match agricultural companies with jobseekers 

A small rural business used RDP support to purchase new stone-cutting equipment in order to expand its range of products.

A local producer of syrups and vinegars in Estonia used EAFRD funding to scale up production to create a business that sells to restaurants, shops and big suppliers. 

A family-owned strawberry farm in Estonia used EAFRD funding to develop the generation of  solar power, enabling the farm to expand and increasing their profits.

An Estonian NGO assisted in a 10th anniversary celebration of a home café event started in an island town. They organised café workshops and helped spread the concept.

A year-round holiday cottage was built on an equestrian farm to accommodate guests. The construction used natural materials such as moss and wood.

LEADER funding in two subsequent projects helped a small metalware company grow its size and capacity and take advantage of new market opportunities.

A Hungarian woodworking business used LEADER support for the construction of a new environmentally friendly manufactory hall.

Thanks to a LEADER supported investment, a shoe repair and manufacturing enterprise constructed its own production facility benefiting from savings on rent and easier access to the market.

EAFRD funding enabled setting up a sawn timber production company in northeast Greece that employs modern equipment and contributes to the local economy by using local resources.
