Rural areas are commonly affected by depopulation and ageing populations. This project promoted healthy and active ageing in rural areas, by offering physical and social activities for the elderly.

Using RDP support to develop and test a prototype mobile solar power station that can produce clean energy at any location without needing any fixed infrastructure.
Support from the rural development programme was used to buy new machinery and expand the production capacity of a biogas plant.
