This Lithuanian LEADER project empowered the women of a small village to create a brand for their organic fruit and vegetables, and increase the income they generate by selling their home produce. 

The innovative East Cork Bird Trail created a trail that provides extensive interpretative resources. 

The project promoted the traditional architecture of Tsakonia region. In this way it increased the appreciation for its value and helped attract greater numbers of tourists. 

A biofuel production and packaging line was established in an olive growing region of Greece. The waste residues are used to produce biofuel (PELLET) offering considerable economic and environmental benefits. 

Thanks to a LEADER supported investment, a shoe repair and manufacturing enterprise constructed its own production facility benefiting from savings on rent and easier access to the market.

EAFRD funding enabled setting up a sawn timber production company in northeast Greece that employs modern equipment and contributes to the local economy by using local resources.

A cooperative in Greece set up a fully-automated production line for 100% natural pomegranate juice and fostered a spirit of cooperation among its members.

A producer of extra virgin olive oil in Laconia region received support to build a new olive oil production unit in response to the increasing demand.

EAFRD funding enabled the creation of an integrated sports and adventure centre where visitors can enjoy nature and benefit from its environmental education services. 

Finest Greek Tastes is an ambitious LEADER cooperation project involving 21 Local Action Groups and more than 50 municipalities, working together to promote quality Greek products based on local culinary traditions and culture.
