EAFRD-funded modernisation investment for a forestry company in south-western Hungary.

A young farmer used support from the Hungarian Rural Development Programme (RDP) to expand the production capacity of his farm and respond to the increasing market demand for his pork products.
 

This project is an example of how villagers can get access to high-speed broadband networks even in remote and sparsely populated rural areas. It is the winning initiative of the 2019 Rural Inspiration Awards in the 'Rural Revitalisation' category.
