A cooperation project to develop an innovative, area-specific model of nature conservation advisory services. 
 

The aim of this interterritorial cooperation project is to mobilise and engage local communities in preserving the natural resources and biodiversity in their local area. 

Rural Development Programme (RDP) support was used for helping to prevent forest fires in a former military testing area in Brandenburg, Germany, that is heavily contaminated with explosive material. 

The largest, hi-tech hydroponic greenhouse for growing vegetables in the Czech Republic used Rural Development Programme (RDP) support to upgrade its pesticide-free production capacity.

The aim of the project was to secure a supply of quality regional products in shops in small villages in the SPESSART LEADER area, and by so doing to develop shops’ regional products offer and enhance their long-term sustainability.
 

The project aimed to develop a cargo bike delivery service in the town of Burgsteinfurt that would benefit local people, local retailers and the environment. The service enjoyed ever-increasing demand over the project period with the participation of 15 retailers.
