CAP support in Ireland improves farm safety and wellbeing of agricultural workers.

A farm used Rural Development Programme (RDP) support to produce horse manure pellets that can be used as an organic fertiliser as well as a source of renewable energy.

Rural areas are commonly affected by depopulation and ageing populations. This project promoted healthy and active ageing in rural areas, by offering physical and social activities for the elderly.

The Digitally Visiting project has pioneered digital skill development in Central Finland. The project has demonstrated that there is a large need for local digital support to develop residents’ digital skills, especially in remote rural regions. The project encouraged and guided rural residents to use electronic services and so has contributed to making rural living in Central Finland more appealing.

A family business, trading high quality instant coffee, used EAFRD support to expand its business by installing a new more efficient production line.
