The forum provides a platform for young people from rural areas to discuss issues that are relevant for their countries and regions. This year’s discussions will focus on the topic of ‘sustainability’.
The event will discuss the role of the primary sector in providing safe and healthy animal-derived products, including aspects relevant to the entire food chain such as changes in consumption patterns and research and innovation.
The event will discuss the evolution of LEADER over the past 25 years and the important role of Local Action Groups (LAGs) in supporting the development of European rural areas. It will also feature a discussion on the future of LEADER in the next programming period.
The event will discuss the concept of ‘Rural 2.0’ and provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices in managing and animating rural territories, specifically in the context of smart villages’ contribution to a digital, ecological and societal transition in France.
