Over 400 rural development stakeholders gathered in Brussels to join ‘networX – Inspiring Rural Europe’, a unique event recognising the value of rural networking, demonstrating its results and proactively looking at its future.
The conference, organised by the European Commission, will look to analyse and discuss opportunities and challenges for enhancing the contribution of the forest sector to the main EU priorities.
The event aims to raise awareness on young farmers’ needs and access to financing and addressing price volatility in the agricultural sector. It will further discuss how to set up adequate and effective financial instruments under the EAFRD.
The event presents an opportunity for all interested stakeholders to meet European partners, understand how cooperation works in different European countries and exchange knowledge and experience on working methods for cooperation projects.
This meeting will bring together key players and experts at EU and national level to explore the potential of Social Enterprise in revitalising rural Ireland. It is an opportunity to learn about the support opportunities available at EU level and promote the potential added benefits that this partnership can bring.
