This annual trade fair will showcase fertilisers and plant protection products, harvesting equipment, and irrigation tools and techniques. The fair attracts over 200 000 visitors and 1 000 exhibitors every year.
This international conference will bring together rural service providers, policy-makers, businesses and scientists to discuss how nutrition-sensitive agriculture initiatives can improve livelihoods in rural communities. Additionally, it will showcase diverse foods and products to promote the replication and scale-up of good agro-ecological practices and balanced diets.
Organised by the ‘Internet of Food and Farm 2020’ project (IoF2020), the event will discuss the state of play and future of digital agriculture in Europe, engage with key stakeholders from the agri-food value chain, and showcase ICT solutions in greenhouses.
Under the theme “Agriculture: a collective adventure”, this year’s edition of the International Agricultural Show will seek to create a social link between producers, farmers and consumers. It is organised around four sectors: crops and vegetable sectors; livestock; products; and agricultural services and trade.
The 11th World Congress on Agriculture & Horticulture will focus on the latest developments in agricultural innovation, including topics such as sustainable agriculture, crop and soil sciences, integrated pest management, and greenhouse production.
