Le deuxième numéro du magazine « Rural Connections » est à présent en ligne.
En plus des dernières nouvelles et actualités du développement rural, cette édition présente des points de vue sur des sujets allant du réseautage rural dans les Balkans occidentaux aux programmes agro-environnementaux fondés sur les résultats (RBAPS) à travers l’UE. Une section reportages et interviews met l’accent sur l'amélioration de la mise en œuvre des PDR.

Le Point de contact du REDR vous invite à partager vos photos sur des sujets liés au développement rural (gens / emplois ruraux; diversité et environnement rural; produits de terroir; esprit LEADER…) pour utilisation dans les publications du REDR et autres supports d'information.
Pour être de bonne qualité à l'impression, les photos doivent atteindre 1 Mo ou plus. Il importe de préciser ce que la photo représente et qui en détient les droits d'auteur. Pour envoyer vos photos ou en savoir plus, contactez editor@enrd.eu.

| Améliorer la mise en œuvre des PDR |
Le rapport final du Groupe thématique sur l’amélioration de la mise en œuvre des PDR est maintenant disponible sur le site web du REDR.
Le rapport fournit des recommandations spécifiques pour simplifier et rendre plus efficace la mise en œuvre des programmes de développement rural (PDR) afin de répondre aux besoins concrets des parties prenantes. Il donne en outre un aperçu du type de soutien que les Réseaux ruraux nationaux (RRN) et le REDR peuvent fournir à cet effet.

| Les dernières tendances du commerce agroalimentaire de l'UE |
L’analyse du commerce agricole et alimentaire de l'UE en 2014 confirme la place de l’Union comme premier exportateur mondial de produits agroalimentaires et met en évidence l'importance du commerce pour la croissance et l'emploi dans l'agriculture et le secteur alimentaire.

L'étude donne un aperçu complet des principales importations et exportations agroalimentaires de l'UE et des relations commerciales que l’Union entretient avec ses principaux partenaires. L'analyse révèle une nette augmentation de la valeur des exportations malgré les restrictions frappant les importations russes, ainsi que l'importance croissante du marché américain dans les échanges agroalimentaires.

| Consultation publique: Stratégie en matière de statistiques agricoles pour 2020 et au-delà |
Eurostat, l'office statistique de l'UE, souhaite recueillir les opinions et les besoins statistiques d'un large éventail d’acteurs ruraux et agricoles.
|
La consultation servira à élaborer une nouvelle stratégie en matière de statistiques agricoles afin de mieux appréhender des questions comme le verdissement de la PAC, le changement climatique, les structures de production, les chaînes d'approvisionnement alimentaire, la volatilité des prix, etc. La date limite pour participer est le 18 novembre 2015.

| La gestion durable des terres récompensée |

| Le Land and Soil Management Award récompense annuellement la bonne gestion des terres et des sols, notamment les bonnes pratiques en matière d'atténuation des menaces. Il vise à encourager leur adoption aux niveaux local, national et européen. |
|
Les agriculteurs, propriétaires fonciers et gestionnaires de terres, individuellement ou en collaboration avec des instituts de recherche ou des entreprises privées, sont encouragés à appliquer et à mettre en valeur des bonnes pratiques innovantes en matière de gestion durable des sols. La date limite d’inscription est le 31 décembre 2015.

| De nouvelles bonnes pratiques de projets FEADER sont en ligne |
25 nouveaux exemples de bonnes pratiques de développement rural dans différents États membres de l'UE sont maintenant disponibles sur le site web du REDR.
Cette série couvre un large éventail de thèmes et de projets. Elle comprend des exemples de coopération transnationale ainsi que des méthodes efficaces de mise en œuvre de projet. | Modèle pour la coopération transfrontalière |
|
Le projet permettra de dresser un inventaire des partenariats réussis en matière de développement rural, politique régionale, recherche et innovation et valorisation des connaissances acquises, de façon à élaborer et tester une stratégie de coopération transfrontalière efficace.

| Formation des jeunes agriculteurs à l’agriculture multifonctionnelle |
Un projet financé par l'UE constitue une ressource pour la formation des jeunes agriculteurs souhaitant apprendre et appliquer les techniques agricoles «multifonctionnelles» afin de diversifier et améliorer leurs activités en termes de productivité et de durabilité.
Ce dispositif de formation consiste en des cours en ligne basés sur l’autoapprentissage, ainsi qu’en une série de 51 bonnes pratiques provenant de 20 États membres de l'UE et couvrant divers aspects de l’«agriculture multifonctionnelle». Cette plate-forme de connaissances est accessible en DE, EN, ES, FR, IT et PL.

| Importante campagne de sensibilisation à l’agriculture sur les réseaux sociaux au Royaume-Uni |
|
|
L'initiative visait à rassembler tous les intervenants impliqués dans l’agriculture et les secteurs connexes du Royaume-Uni via le hashtag #Farm24, du 20 août 2015 à 5h du matin au 21 août à 5h. Forte des milliers de tweets et photos recueillis, la campagne est devenue mondiale, des agriculteurs australiens et américains s’étant également joints à #Farm24.
