Neue Ausgabe der ELER-Projektbroschüre |

Eine neue Ausgabe der ELER-Projektbroschüre, bei der die Schwerpunkte der ländlichen Entwicklung in der EU 2014–2020 im Fokus stehen, wurde online vom ENRD veröffentlicht.
Die Broschüre beleuchtet Ideen und Ergebnisse von über 50 Projekten, die im Rahmen des ELER gefördert wurden. Zwölf Projekte werden anhand von konkreten Fallstudien vorgestellt, jeweils zwei Projekte für jeden der sechs Schwerpunktbereiche der ländlichen Entwicklung. Mit der Broschüre sollen die Erfolge früherer Projekte aufgezeigt und gleichzeitig Informationen und Inspirationen für die neue Generation der ELER-Projekte geliefert werden.
Die Broschüre wird in die französische, deutsche, spanische, italienische und polnische Sprache übersetzt. | Kommission genehmigt weitere 24 EPLR |
Am 26. Mai verabschiedete die Europäische Kommission 24 nationale bzw. regionale Entwicklungsprogramme für den ländlichen Raum (EPLR) aus Bulgarien, Deutschland, Irland, Italien, Kroatien, Rumänien, Schweden, Spanien, der Tschechischen Republik und dem Vereinigten Königreich.

| OECD unterstreicht wirtschaftliches Potenzial der ländlichen Gebiete |
Die Teilnehmenden kamen zu dem Schluss, dass verschiedene Finanzinstrumente, die Förderung privater Investitionen, die Unterstützung lokaler Nahrungsmittelsysteme, die Stärkung der Biowirtschaft und der ökologischen Nachhaltigkeit in Kombination unerlässlich ist, um das wirtschaftliche Potenzial der ländlichen Gebiete vollständig zu erschließen.
An der Veranstaltung, die am 19. und 20. Mai in Memphis (USA) stattfand, nahmen internationale politische Entscheidungsträger, Experten und Vertreter des privaten Sektors teil, um moderne ländliche Politiken zu diskutieren und darüber zu sprechen, wie deren Umsetzung bestmöglich zu einem Wachstum der Wirtschaft beitragen kann. Die Konferenz baute auf dem Bericht „Neue ländliche Paradigmen“ auf, der 2006 veröffentlicht wurde.

| CLLD als Instrument für soziale Eingliederung |
Der CLLD-Ansatz kann zur sozialen Eingliederung an den Rand gedrängter Gruppen, wie z. B. der Roma, beitragen. Zu dieser Schlussfolgerung gelangten die Teilnehmer einer Veranstaltung des ERGO-Netzwerks, die sich mit diesem Thema auseinandersetzten.

Der Schwerpunkt der Veranstaltung lag auf dem Austausch praktischer Erfahrungen bei der Planung von Ausschreibungen und der Auswahl von Strategien und Interventionen, die sicherstellen, dass CLLD die Roma in den Ländern Bulgarien, Rumänien, der Slowakei, der Tschechischen Republik und Ungarn erreicht. Eine Reihe von Referenzdokumenten der EU und aus internationalen Quellen sowie ein Dokument des EGRO-Netzwerks liefern bereits praktische Einblicke zum Entwurf effektiver lokaler Strategien, mit denen der sozialen Ausgrenzung der Roma entgegengewirkt werden kann.

| Förderung des Online-Austauschs von Agrarwissen |
Chil.org ist ein neues Webportal, das den Austausch von Wissen im landwirtschaftlichen, agrarindustriellen, umweltbezogenen und ländlichen Sektor innerhalb Europas fördern will.

| Auf dem Webportal können Ideen, innovative Verfahren und Trends im technologischen und unternehmerischen Bereich mithilfe verschiedener webbasierter Tools, wie News- und Veranstaltungsfeeds, Publikationen, Blogs, Foren, Webhosting und Wikis ausgetauscht werden. Die automatische Übersetzungsfunktion des Portals ermöglicht das Lesen von Informationen in der Nutzersprache. |

| Neue Infografiken zu Bio-Lebensmitteln in der EU |
Die Infografiken zeigen Informationen zu den Biolandwirtschaftsflächen, Erzeugern, Verkaufszahlen und dem Verbrauch in der EU. Anhand statistischer Daten wird gezeigt, wo und warum Europäer Bio-Lebensmittel kaufen.

| Öffentliche Konsultation zur Forschung im Bereich globale Nahrungsmittelsicherheit |
Grundlage der öffentlichen Debatte bildet ein Diskussionspapier, das die Herausforderungen für Forschung und Innovation analysiert und ermittelt, in welchen Bereichen die EU den größten Mehrwert schaffen kann. Die Ergebnisse der Konsultation werden bei Diskussionen zum gleichen Thema während der Expo Mailand aufgegriffen und sollen zu einer breiter angelegten globalen Debatte zum Thema Forschung und Entwicklung in der Landwirtschaft beitragen.

| Kampf gegen die Landflucht in Spanien |
Eine neue Studie untersuchte die Faktoren, die zu einem alarmierenden Ausmaß der Landflucht in Spanien geführt haben und hob 50 Maßnahmen hervor, um wirksam gegen dieses Problem vorzugehen.
Die Maßnahmen, mit denen die Grundlage für eine Politik auf nationaler Ebene geschaffen werden soll, umfassen territoriale, steuerliche, soziale, finanzielle, technologische und informationsbezogene Aspekte und sollen die soziale und wirtschaftliche Zukunft der ländlichen Gebiete sichern.

| Ein Schritt nach vorn beim Kampf gegen Lebensmittelabfälle |
|
|
Hervorzuheben ist, dass die neue Gesetzgebung es großen Supermärkten verbietet, genießbare Lebensmittel zu entsorgen und sie verpflichtet, diese zu spenden oder zur Umwandlung in Tiernahrung, Kompostierung oder Energieerzeugung einzusetzen.

| Neue Austauschplattform für Nachrichten und Veranstaltungen des LIFE-Programms |
Das LIFE-Programm, ein Förderinstrument der EU für Umwelt- und Klimaschutzmaßnahmen, startete kürzlich eine neue Website, auf der die verschiedenen LIFE-Interessenvertreter ihre Neuigkeiten und Veranstaltungen austauschen können.

| Die Website ging zum Natura-2000-Tag am 21. Mai online und richtet sich an alle LIFE-Projektbeteiligten, die dort ihre Neuigkeiten, Veranstaltungen, Fotos und Videos auf einfache Weise mitteilen können. |
