As Italy eases COVID-19 lockdown, entering so-called ‘phase 2’ of the confinement, some parents are going back to work but their children’s schools are still closed. Some farms in the Veneto region offer open-air activities for children.
The initiative is a collaboration of the local association of women farmers and rural entrepreneurs, Donne Impresa Coldiretti Verona, with the regional project Educazione alla Campagna Amica, fostering children’s connection with, and understanding of, agriculture and rural areas.
