This is the highlights report of the ENRD Workshop on Building a long-term vision for rural areas which was organised as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities.
It provides a brief overview of the vision (why do we need a vision, what is the European Commission doing, awareness raising of consultation activities), as well as an insight into the participants' views.
