Three new briefings on bioeconomy offer an overview of policy and tools supporting the bioeconomy in rural areas, provide recommendations on the use of RDPs and future Strategic Plans, and explore the role of awareness-raising and communications in mainstreaming the bioeconomy.
The briefings target European, national and regional/local policy-makers and combine theoretical knowledge with practical examples. They focus on the following topics:
- European rural bioeconomy: policy and tools
- Recommendations on the use of RDPs to mainstream the bioeconomy
- Exploring the role of awareness‑raising and communication in promoting the development of sustainable bioeconomy value chains
The briefings are the result of the analytical work carried out by the ENRD Thematic Group on 'Mainstreaming the Bioeconomy'.
