A new case study film on animal welfare just published on our EURural YouTube channel shows that improvements in livestock welfare can result in improved business productivity and related competitiveness for rural economies.
The investment project featured in our new film was financed by Luxembourg’s Rural Development Programme (RDP).
Investment measures often comprise large proportions of RDP budgets and projects such as this example highlight how allocating EU support to enhance on-farm environmental conditions can make positive local contributions to global 'Green Deal' goals.
