The event will gather young people to explore what innovative products and services the forest and its environment can offer. Participants aged between 17- 27 years old from all over Austria, will be given the opportunity to present their best solution to an expert jury and convince them of its feasibility.
The event will discuss the challenges Europe faces in rolling out broadband, specifically in rural and sub-urban areas, as well as the opportunities connectivity offers in bridging the digital divide.
The event will explore the results of the CAP ‘Fitness Check’ and further discuss with experts, policy makers and stakeholders how to make EU agriculture policy fit for the future and what needs to change to ensure long term value for taxpayers’ money.
The event aims to boost social innovation in Europe as a good, cost-effective way to advance inclusive and wealth-creating public policies. It will bring together a wide range of actors, including world-class scientists, innovators, social entrepreneurs, civil society representatives, national and regional policy-makers, venture capitalists and more.
The regional conference, organised by the Forum for the Future of Agriculture will provide the opportunity to discuss agriculture and environment at the Bulgarian national level. Three discussion panels will address topics such as the Sustainable Development Goals, future of Common Agriculture Policy, and competitiveness and environment protection in the Bulgarian agriculture landscape.
The event will provide the opportunity for different stakeholders to cooperate in developing new and innovative ways to successfully translate applied climate research into agricultural practice. The winning groups, selected by an expert jury, will receive coaching sessions to further develop their ideas.
