Local authorities are encouraged to use the week to test new transport measures and get feedback from the public. It is also an excellent opportunity for local stakeholders to get together and discuss the different aspects of mobility and air quality, find innovative solutions to reduce car-use and transport emissions, and test new technologies and planning measures.

Smart Villages (Smart digital transformation of villages in the Alpine Space) is an Interreg Alpine Space project looking at how the Smart Village approach can unlock the potential of local actors in mountain areas. The project partners will present in Bern some of the results and recommendations gathered since the start of the project in 2018.
