The second meeting of the Rural Networks’ Steering Group (SG) discussed the activities of the two European rural networks (ENRD & EIP-AGRI) around the ten priority themes identified by previous governance meetings.
The Seminar identified the main challenges for the successful start of RDPs, opportunities for improving their implementation and joint actions to be carried out at the EU level.
The third and final meeting of the TG developed recommendations for networks, Managing Authorities and other organisations on how to enable stakeholder involvement through networking in order to improve policy.

The first meeting of the Rural Networks’ permanent Sub-group on LEADER/CLLD discussed priority themes for European and National Rural Networks and exchanged experience on how these can be addressed.
The workshop introduced and explained the concept of results-based agri-environment payment schemes (RBAPS) to national and regional authorities and explored the potential constraints and opportunities for their implementation.
The second meeting of the TG started developing recommendations for European and National Rural Networks through analyising ‘stakeholder involvement’ examples and practices.
The training aimed at improving the capacity of national and regional authorities to ensure sound financial management of EU Funds, including best value for money.
