The ENRD Evaluation Helpdesk Good Practice Workshop, ‘How to demonstrate RDP achievements and impacts: lessons learned from the evaluations reported in the AIR 2019’ took place on 11-12 December 2019 in Seville, Spain.
In June 2019, RDP Managing Authorities completed the evaluation of the RDP achievements and impacts and submitted their findings in the enhanced Annual Implementation Reports 2019 (AIRs). They reported on both RDP achievements by answering the Common Evaluation Questions (CEQs) 1-21 and the contributions of RDPs to the EU’s strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, as well as the biodiversity strategy (headline targets), and CAP objectives (impacts) by answering CEQs 22-30.
The purpose of this Good Practice Workshop was to examine the experiences from the evaluations reported in the AIR 2019 and draw lessons learned for the ex post. This workshop further served to:
- Provide a forum to discuss and learn lessons from the evaluations in 2019.
- Exchange experience and good practices on the practical approaches (methods, indicators, data).
- Identify challenges and needs for further support for Managing Authorities and evaluators.
Managing Authorities, departments dealing with programming, evaluators and National Rural Network representatives. We encouraged stakeholders who are involved not only in evaluation but also programming to participate in this event.
