As part of the European Week of Regions and Cities, ENRD Contact Point moderated the Long Term Vision for rural areas - key political messages.
Commissioners highlighted key political messages for the Long Term Vision for Rural Areas, foreseen for Q2-2021, based on extensive consultations, in particular with people living in these rural areas, as well as local and regional authorities. The Long-Term Vision cuts across several policy areas and requires a stronger integrated and coordinated approach at European, national and regional levels.
In a panel discussion with the participation of stakeholders representing digital, green, resilient, and socially inclusive aspects, Commissioners informed the audience about the next steps.
