The ENRD Contact Point held a workshop on results-based agri-environment payment schemes (RBAPS) for biodiversity in Brussels on 14 April 2015. RBAPS involve farmers and land managers receiving payments for delivering specific environmental results or outcomes rather than for adhering to a set of farm management prescriptions. In this context, the ENRD workshop aimed to introduce and explain the concept of RBAPS to national and regional authorities and to explore the potential constraints and opportunities for their implementation.
