Este taller formó parte de las actividades realizadas en el marco de trabajo temático de la REDR sobre el relevo generacional y la inclusión social.
Basándose en el trabajo anterior llevado a cabo por el punto de contacto de la REDR sobre el apoyo al relevo generacional para fomentar unas zonas rurales vibrantes, y en respuesta igualmente a las demandas de las partes interesadas, este taller analizó en profundidad cómo aumentar el atractivo de las zonas rurales para los agricultores jóvenes y los nuevos agricultores, y cómo los jóvenes emprendedores pueden contribuir a la prosperidad rural con su trabajo.
Durante el taller se presentó el trabajo analítico del punto de contacto de la REDR sobre el relevo generacional, así como ejemplos de éxito de emprendimiento juvenil en Italia, Francia, Alemania e Irlanda. Los participantes tuvieron igualmente la oportunidad de examinar el futuro de la política agrícola común, con un especial hincapié en el relevo generacional.
