ENRD Workshop on 'The Future CAP: towards a Performance-based Delivery Model'

This ENRD workshop discussed the transition to a new delivery model for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) based on performance, following the publication of the European Commission’s Communication on the Future of Food and Farming (November 2017).

The event launched an exchange on the practical implications of shifting to a performance-based delivery model with Managing Authorities (MAs) and Paying Agencies (PAs), with a particular focus on rural development.

Over 120 participants from all 28 EU Member States shared opinions and ideas on what the national needs would be for transitioning to and implementing such a new delivery model.
