The objective of this first meeting is to discuss the areas within the rural bioeconomy that have most potential to produce climate outcomes, such as reductions in GHG emissions, carbon sequestration or conservation, and replacing fossil based materials.
The meeting will also discuss the necessary actions to ensure that such climate outcomes can be valorised and upscaled in bio-based value chains and in rural activities. It will launch the TG's work to identify and disseminate the available support approaches, in particular in the context of the CAP and the Rural Development programmes, to promote rural climate action within the bioeconomy.
Participation to the meeting is by confirmed registration only. For more information contact us at email@example.com.
