The 19th NRN meeting was organised by the ENRD Contact Point jointly with the Luxembourg Rural Network. The main objectives of the meeting were to discuss the role of NRNs in supporting and promoting TNC, to provide space to exchange on forthcoming rural networking activities and to consider how NRNs have so far contributed to the development of the LTVRA.

This workshop package, prepared by the European Commission/DG AGRI, is an opportunity for groups of rural citizens to explore their ideal vision for the future of their own rural area.
The ENRD Contact Point and the rural networks of Flanders and Wallonia co-organised the 18th NRN Meeting, which explored how NRNs have responded to the challenges arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and specific lessons learned in adapting methodologies.
This Thematic Lab explored the role of LEADER and LEADER Local Action Groups in maintaining and widening stakeholder engagement in their local areas, to develop short and long-term responses to local challenges now and for the future.
The ENRD Contact Point and the Spanish Rural Network Support Unit co-organised the 16th NRN Meeting in Calatayud. This meeting focused on the state of play of preparations for the design and setting up of the new CAP Networks under the post 2020 CAP, as well as any challenges and potential solutions.
The 16th NRN meeting was followed by a workshop NRN facilitation techniques for stakeholder engagement on 4 March.
To prepare the ground for future CAP networks, there is a need to reinforce the connections between the activities of rural networks with those of farming stakeholders both at EU and national level.
