Project topic:

We are LAGs from the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. As part of the project, we want to learn about culture, tourist attractions and what is interesting in the region. In addition, we want to enable local entrepreneurs to become acquainted with the specifics of doing business in the LAG area outside of Poland by exchanging mutual experiences and establishing joint business relationships. We can boast of sacred monuments, rich history, nature, local products, folklore and sports traditions. In addition, in our areas there are many business entities with various business profiles, e.g. agritourism, enotourism, organic food producers and many others. Cooperation would be an excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences. More information about one of the LAG region you can find in publication “Association in the focus” and promotional film available on the website:

Project idea summary:

Two LAGs from south-eastern part of Poland: Local Action Group „5 Communes Partnership” and Local Action Group "Trygon - Development and Innovation" are looking for a partner in order to implement a transnational cooperation project. The aim of the project is to promote the LAG area and its tourist and recreational values, including the promotion of local entrepreneurship. The purpose of the cooperation implemented under the project will be to establish lasting cooperation with an international partner aimed at activating local business entities. These entities are going to develop their business activity and expand and create a new attractive tourist offer of the area as one of the dominant economic branches of the region.

The target group are tourists, entrepreneurs and residents of the area. As part of the project, we plan to conduct an inventory of tourist and recreational facilities in partner areas (5 Communes Partnership LAG).
We are planning a trip of a group of about 40 people (including LAG representatives, entrepreneurs, representatives of local culture, etc.) for two / three days during which we would visit tourist facilities at the partner's and exchange experiences with persons managing these facilities and local entrepreneurs (costs on the side of Polish partners). Polish LAGs will gladly accept a delegation of a foreign partners in their area, offering assistance in organizing such a stay (costs on the part of a foreign partner). By implementing these activities, we want to achieve the project's goal of promoting the LAG area and its tourist and recreational values and development of local entrepreneurship.
