Context: 

The project proposes an innovative model for rural development that focuses its actions in the link between the agricultural and zootechnical biodiversity and landscape protection. The operations referred to the project will expect the transition from conservation policies to policies of enhancement of biodiversity in open fields. This will be achieved through actions of protection of the original landscape, recovery of agricultural land crops and recognition of landscape value of the territory.

Project idea summary: 

The project proposes an innovative model for rural development that focuses its actions in the link between the agricultural and zootechnical biodiversity and landscape protection. The operations referred to the project will expect the transition from conservation policies to policies of enhancement of biodiversity in open fields. This will be achieved through actions of protection of the original landscape, recovery of agricultural land crops and recognition of landscape value of the territory. Also some elements of image and communication will be integrated in the landscape and biodiversity policies, an interesting example is the recognition of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Mab territories of the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
