Context:

Scientific research (Koskinen 2010, Finnish Youth Barometer 2018) shows that young people are very interested in environmental issues in Finland. We believe that this is an international and European phenomenon too. Actual action to mitigate climate change is still not that easy for youngsters and they might need some encouragement to change the interest in real action. This project uses cultural methods to create conversation and small environmental projects.

Project idea summary:

International Leader-project for youngster (16-20 years old). Aiming to find ways to improve environmental consciousness and create dialog between youngster from different countries to mitigate climate change. In practise this means workshops, fieldtrips, conversations and small environmental projects using cultural methods such as Environmental Arts.
