Context:

We are LAG Noguera Segrià Nord in Catalonia (Spain). We coordinate FER project and we would like to promote this multilingual cooperation project in other countries.
Our project is called Future Rural Entrepreneurs (FER.CAT), and it is a multilingual cooperation project (Estonian, Catalan, Aranese, English and Spanish), that aims to promote entrepreneurial skills among the students of the fifth year of Primary Education. It is a Leader cooperation project financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Catalan Government and EAFRD funds.
Nowadays, we are collaborating with Estonian LAG Piepsi-alutaguse koostöökoda and we would like to extend our European partners.

Project idea summary:

This is a multilingual cooperation that encourages the entrepreneurship vocations among fifth and sixth grades students of Basic Education of the schools located in rural territories. The sum of many entrepreneurship initiatives in the rural world foment a sustainable economy along the time and in this way the creation of more companies will avoid the depopulation of the rural zones.
FER.CAT was created with the strategic objective of awakening the entrepreneurial talent and working to improve various capacities related to entrepreneurship. At the same time puts at disposal of the teachers didactic materials and a methodology that encourages cross-disciplinary application of core competency: learning to entrepreneurship.

Objectives:

This project promotes the development of entrepreneurship. Also, FER shows the opportunities of the rural territories. FER.CAT was created with the strategic objective of awakening the entrepreneurial talent and working to improve various capacities related to entrepreneurship.
