The ENRD Evaluation Helpdesk is pleased to invite you to the Good Practice Workshop, ‘Assessing the contribution of RDPs to a competitive and viable agricultural sector'. The workshop will take place on 9-10 December 2020 Online.
 
Background:

RDP interventions play an important role in contributing to improve the competitiveness of agriculture, one of the key CAP objectives. The workshop will address evaluation issues and topics that merit particular attention when assessing the competitiveness of agriculture from the point of view of the food supply chain organisation, including food processing, marketing and risk management.

Objectives:

The Good Practice Workshop has the overall objective to reflect on experiences in relation to assessing the contributions of RDPs to a competitive and viable agricultural sector with the specific objectives of:

  • Exchanging practices on the methods and challenges for assessing competitiveness along the food supply chain, taking into account all available evidence.
  • Discussing specific issues identified that may affect the evaluation of competitiveness along the food supply chain in the ex post and beyond and identifying potential approaches/solutions to them.
  • Identifying needs for further support for Managing Authorities and evaluators in relation to the above issues for preparing the ex post evaluations and building knowledge for future CAP evaluations.

Target Audience:

The workshop will be an opportunity for Managing Authorities, evaluators, researchers and other evaluation stakeholders in the Member States as well as EU-level evaluation experts and researchers to exchange with each other.
