The sixth meeting of the Rural Networks’ Steering Group (SG) looked at networks’ activities to ensure their relevance for SG member organisations in light of the Cork 2.0 Conference and Declaration.
This ENRD workshop focused on the designation of ‘Areas facing natural or other specific constraints’ (ANCs) by programme authorities.
The 1st meeting of the Thematic Group (TG) primarily focused on identifying specific sub-themes that TG members will work on, including practical challenges and opportunities offered by the Rural Development Programmes (RDPs).
This Good Practice Workshop aims to provide a forum for the discussion and exchange of evaluation practices used by ex post evaluators. The workshop will be a forum for evaluators, Managing Authorities, EC representatives and the authors of the guidelines for the ex post evaluation of 2007-2013 RDPs.

The Seminar saw an exchange of experiences, examples, and new proposals for ensuring the RDPs support rural stakeholders to benefit fully from all the opportunities that the Green Economy can bring.
The fifth meeting of the Rural Networks’ Steering Group (SG) discussed future activities of the networks to ensure their relevance for SG member organisations. It further identified key questions on networks’ self-assessment.
The workshop looked at Managing Authorities’ and National Rural Networks’ initiatives enhancing cooperation by improving coordination and complementarity between RDPs; harmonising processes rules and tools; and working with other Funds and stakeholder groups.
The workshop discussed the challenges currently faced by programme authorities in the implementation of Measure 16 and explored the wide range of cooperation opportunities the Measure offers.
The third TG meeting discussed practical examples addressing the Green Economy and ways to incorporate those into the RDPs.
