This Good Practice Workshop provides a forum for evaluation stakeholders to discuss and exchange approaches for data management in RDPs 2014-2020.
The third meeting of the Rural Networks’ Assembly discussed the main themes and activities of the three support units, as well as follow-up actions to the Cork 2.0 Declaration, with a special focus on the topic of ‘digitisation’.
The 2nd meeting of the Thematic Group (TG) on ‘Smart & Competitive Rural Businesses’ focused on identifying and analysing main business support tools to: developing and implementing creative and sustainable business ideas; and making use of digitisation for rural businesses.
The 6th NRNs’ meeting discussed network governance considering the structure and role of the NRNs. It further looked at links with stakeholders and how innovation is fostered within and between EU Member States.
The 1st meeting of the Thematic Group (TG) primarily focused on defining specific sub-themes that members will work on, including practical challenges and opportunities offered by the Rural Development Programmes (RDPs).
The sixth meeting of the Rural Networks’ Steering Group (SG) looked at networks’ activities to ensure their relevance for SG member organisations in light of the Cork 2.0 Conference and Declaration.
This ENRD workshop focused on the designation of ‘Areas facing natural or other specific constraints’ (ANCs) by programme authorities.

This Good Practice Workshop aims to provide a forum for the discussion and exchange of evaluation practices used by ex post evaluators. The workshop will be a forum for evaluators, Managing Authorities, EC representatives and the authors of the guidelines for the ex post evaluation of 2007-2013 RDPs.

The Seminar saw an exchange of experiences, examples, and new proposals for ensuring the RDPs support rural stakeholders to benefit fully from all the opportunities that the Green Economy can bring.
