The Evaluation Helpdesk is, besides the Contact Point, the second service provider for the European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) and works under the guidance of DG Agriculture and Rural Development (Unit E.4. Evaluation and studies).
The work programme for the period 2014-2020 includes several new features, such as:
The European Evaluation Helpdesk for Rural Development was created on 1 January 2015 and has been operating to the benefit of Member States and their Evaluators since April 2015.
The Brussels-based permanent team, is joined by non-permanent core team members, geographic experts in each Member State and the pool of thematic experts to support the evaluation of Rural Development Programmes and contribute to meeting EU objectives of smart sustainable and inclusive growth.
