Main activities

Results & Benefits

A new barn has been completed providing thus providing more possibilities for the increase of the number of ostriches being bred at the farm. The ostrich farm attracts tourists and cooperates closely with a dairy museum and the Imavere pub that are situated close to the farm. As a result of increased visits to the area, the ostrich farm contributes to improved quality of life in the local community.

Lessons learnt

Starting "small" and then gradually increasing the size of the business is safer and more conducive to success. Learning from others and cooperation is of great importance.
