LAG Novi Pazar-Kaspichan occupies an area of 592km² and falls within the administrative boundaries of two municipalities - Novi Pazar and Kaspichan. It is located in the North East planning region. The area has an extremely important strategic position in Northeast Bulgaria. The terrain of the territory is flat plateau. The climate conditions are suitable for eco-tourism and outdoor sports. The area of LAG Novi Pazar-Kaspichan possesses rich cultural, historical and natural heritage – e.g. historical monuments of the first Bulgarian capital, the Madara Horseman, etc. Currently, typical for LAG tourism activities are one-day trips, weekend vacations and cultural tourism.
