LAG Razlog is placed within the Razlog municipality, located in the South East planning region and Blagoevgrad district. There are 7 villages located in LAG. The territory of LAG Razlog occupies a large area of Razlog valley, placed along the Mesta River between the Pirin mountain, Rila mountain range and Rodopi mountain. The slopes of these three mountains fall within the territory of the LAG. Part of the territory of Rila National Park and Pirin National Park are also within the teritorial scope of this LAG. The variety of biodiversity is due to the high difference in altitude. There are mineral springs in four areas: Banya (72 springs), Katarino area near Razlog, Razhdavets near the village of Bachevo and in the village of Eleshnitsa. The temperature of some of them reaches 60°C.
