Pays Coeur d'Hérault is an area bounded on the South by the coastal towns of Sete, Agde and Beziers, on the East by the town of Montpellier, on the west by the Pays of Haut Languedoc, on the North-East by the Cevennes, on the North by the Aveyron Causses. This gives it a strategic key position with high potential topics. This area benefits of relative centrality located at the intersection of two main national roads, the A75 and A750. Pays Coeur d’Hérault land federates 77 municipalities with 70 000 inhabitants, living in a rural area (1 300 km²). "Convivencia" means "living together" in Occitan, representing the hospitality and Mediterranean characters of Pays Coeur d’Hérault.

Land management in rural areas (sustainable urban planning and building, enhancement of landscape and heritage, training), sustainable agriculture and promotion of local products (develop local food and short supply chains for locals and visitors neighbors), cultural development (access to culture in the villages) and sustainable tourism.
