LEADER 2012_Promotion of textile design around the stage and carnival costumes

The economic interest group (GIE in French)"Tissu in situ" wants to be available to associations, theater groups, pastorals, in order to make their costumes.

The territory carries a long tradition of textile, spinning, weaving, manufactures of berets, blankets, linen Basque. Industrials changes in recent years have caused the disappearance of these production units, it remains to this day both companies (Béatex and Lartigue), on the other hand, many creative workshops have been developed. In the same time the territory is largely in front of their cultural; history through of pastoral, historical re-enactments, carnival.
