Relaxing business

The project wants to develop local tourism at international level and above all Business tourism. To create an international network of rural tourism linked to fairs, through promotional activities, operations and marketing communication, event organization, enabling LAGs to promote their rural facilities. Business tourism related to trade fairs may become an income source for our farms and also a way to communicate the values of our territories. We mean an alternative way of making business, that is to make business and, at the same time, to relax after a working day full of engagements at the fairs. Rural site, at last, may offer unexpected comfort even for business meetings.

Lomellina is a “land made of water”, a unique landscape of rice fields and natural area, genuine foods and ancient traditions still surviving just out of the doors of Milan. Nature, History, Ancient tradition, Farms, Culinary tradition are the main features that make Lomellina suitable to the best hospitality.

Objectives - To create an international network of rural tourism. Each LAG may be involved in promoting the others - To promote rural accomodations 1 hour from big cities in order to guest business men during fair period - To develop business tourism at international level exploiting the chance offered by Fairs and exhibitions, whose participants are often curious, open minded and willing to pay. -Acknowledge LAGs role as developement agencies Activities Targeted Communication, promotional events, press conferences in Countries and Regions joining the project Cooperation with Fair Board Mutual attendance to specific fairs, where a LAG may meet tourist operator connected fo Fair organization and logistics

LAG situated near fairgrounds of metropolitan areas (i.e.: Milan, Rome, Bari, London, Valencia, Madrid, Nurburg, Hannover, Amsterdam, Paris,...)
