Internationalisation of small businesses (Kansainvälistyvä pienyritys)

The purpose is to support fair trade, network & process of internationalisation in small companies, by arranging seminars which increase knowledge & know-how of target countries. Also arrange tours to International Fairs & developing international networks. In the area, traditionally agriculture has been dominating but has gone through tough rationalisations, & labour in primary production has halved during last 10 years. Jobs in refinement & industry has instead notably growed. Speciality of the area: cross point of internat. roads between Sweden, Norway, Finland &Russia. Dominated manufacturing industry in the area is metal &wood construction. The aim is to help SMEs to become internationalised, to build networks & to develop win-win businesses.

Target group is small companies, employing less than 10 people.

LAGs mainly from Germany, Poland and Sweden, but are open to do co-operation with other countries as well.
